The Machine is comprised of 9, 16"x20" individually framed images hung 1" from each other.  Inspired by cooking shows where chefs deconstruct a dish and then put it back together in different ways, I deconstructed different machines into their parts: bolt, spring, piston, etc., examining the texture of each and then put them back together to create The Machine.
